It is always good to be outside ... even at -25C
No matter what the weather, the 4Runner is out in the elements. The northern logging roads offer great access to the bush. A GPS comes in handy to see where we went.

Testing Mike's custom made "quad" trailer by getting a load of birch for next camping season. Trailer lost a wheel in North Brook. Some say " Mike is short a couple of lugs ". He was that day. Notice the "custom" Red Green winch cover on the 4Runner. |

Even the winter allows opportunities to head into the bush. In this case a logging road 20 km into the bush north of Lake Mazinaw offered Ric some of next year's energy. |
Monster Garage's next project ....
Mike of Brighton Monster Garage fame, sold his Arctic Cat 300 ATV to build an offroader. New 33" Dayton Timberlines and 10" wide rims along with an 8000 lb. Ramsey winch have been purchased for this 1984 CJ. It has the stock 6cyl. but had a 5 speed transmission installed.
One day after flatbedding it home ( the fiberglass roof was not bolted down and blew off the car with slight damage !!!), Mike had the front fenders and hood off !!!

STRIPPED !
Within a week, Mike has dismantled the CJ... and it was COLD over the March break. The tires are mounted and sitting in the shed waiting .... |
